TJ:confused:
I have seen threads on a furnace cement that comes in a caulking tube that was availble from home depot.
Does anybody have the name. Nobody at home depot has a clue.
I want to seal seams in a heat treat oven so it should stand temps of 2000-2300.
Thanks for the help.

TJ, I don't know what they have now, but I picked up DAP 'Fire Resistant Mortar' in a 10 oz. caulking tube from the Depot a while back. It only withstands up to 2000 degrees, however.

Rick Barrett says he uses Rutland furnace cement on his blades.

He wants to use furnace cement as...ummm furnace cement? Who'd a thunk it.:)
I know the caulking tube of furnace cement exists but I just can't remember the name.:grumpy:

I use Imperial Stove and Fireplace Cement and Mortar on my blades but it comes in a tube it is good to 2100 degrees.
