Furnace Elements

Can someone tell me how long i should stretch my furnace elements so i know how long to cut my grooves in the walls of my furnace. The two elements are 115v 14amps, resistance 9ohms, coils are 3/8" od and now the elements are 11" long plus the tails.

Bob, usually they need to be stretched around 5 - 6', duralite lists their 14a elements at 52-150"
