Further to the Calendar Knife..some provenance?

i think differing philosophies of knife collecting are at play here.
i have bought quite a few "unusual" knives, not knowing or really caring if it was a quality item or the "real McCoy". i just wanted that knife and when i figured out what it was, it got "filed" in the correct section. and as with most knives, learned something, which i think most agree, is the point of collecting.
others i think prefer to attempt to limit their collecting to 100% correct knives.
it's all knife collecting. roland
