The shape and geometry of this blade feels really good in the hand, and the sharpened fin is an added bonus. Hope you get yours soon. Super happy at the moment.

Yeah, and Imnot a big kuk guy, but the fusion huck fin is a kuk that looks, for the lack of better description, like a knife. It definitely has a straight knife shape despite the angled blade.

That it does my friend. I never had a desire to get the regular Huck, and since ordering the Fusion, I wondered if I was really going to like it once received, but after fondling it for the past hour, I am truly impressed with the way it handles. It does have a straight knife feel to it and the fusion handle feels perfect for the blade shape. Unfortunately, It's been pouring like crazy down here in S.FL. Once it clears up a bit, I will go chop some tree limbs down with this beauty.

Assuming I am well enough to go, shortly after returning from Blade. Massive skin infection in my leg from a 1/4” scratch I didn’t know I had took me down hard, been in here 6 days already.
I have a long waiting list to work on but my goal is to also start releasing a variety of ready to ship sheaths for recently shipped blades.

Oh man, I hope you get better soon. I know how it feels to be stuck in the hospital. I was in for 2 weeks due to a gastrointestinal issue a few weeks back. Ended up being diagnosed with Proctitis, which as per my Doc, it's a life long condition... Whenever you get back on your feet, please give me a shout. I'd love to get a nice pair of pants for the Huck. Get better Chad

Wow, nice! Mine arrives next Wednesday, and this will be my first ever Busse. I didn't know the fin was sharpened! Now I'm even more excited. I agree this looks to have a straight knife look to it, and is basically a kukri you can stab with as well. This is officially the most excited I have been about a blade.

First of all, I gotta say, nice blade.
Second, I love mine with maroon micarta on competition finish.
But.... I have to say I’d love it more without the fin. It looks cool and all, but I can’t for the life of me figure out what it (the fin) is good for. It’s like an appendix, hanging there on the back of the blade, getting in the way. I guess if you’re going to relegate it purely to the apocalypse that is unlikely, the back corner could be sharpened enough to cut its way out after a slash/stab. Or, if you wanted to make it more useful as a working knife, subdue the corner so you preserve the forward balance for chopping, make the corner less of a nuisance in utility tasks.
I’ll keep it, and beat it, as it has a decent balance, and fantastic fusion grip. And it is a beautiful CF blade. I just don’t particularly like the fin.
BTW, the fin on mine wasn’t sharpened. The back corner was rather acute, but it wasn’t sharp. And good luck getting the part of the fin closest to the tip sharpened. Unless you have a belt grinder, that’s gonna be a long time comin’. The fin widens out toward the tip on mine, to about a 3/16” or so flat on the spine.
Don’t get me wrong. I wouldnt want it sharpened. Heck, I don’t even want it there (which is why I ordered the bigun without the fin). And I love the knife overall. Just cold on the fin.

Just got mine a couple days ago, it is one of my new favorites. Fin is not very practical, but looks pretty cool. Like dogboye said, probably wouldn’t want it very sharp. Handles great, splits small logs nicely, pretty powerful blade! Definitely a keeper, I’m hooked on this maroon micarta. Well done boss man!
