Carried a salsa for a while & never had that problem- it's since moved on to a former work colleague- he's had zero complaints as well. Blade was not overly tight either- a light thumbing brought the blade into play quickly & easily.

I's like to be able to retrofit the CH on a couple of Spydies. I like it. Works really well for me.

I found "The Bandit- One Hand Opener™" at http://www.eknifeworks.com/ Tends to work well with thumb holes. Used one on my Pride.
