Future Plans for S90V?

S90V is now available with the CF Millie - but are there plans for other knives in the future using S90V?

What about the S110V? Which models are planned?
 
Sal once asked if people would be interested in seeing an S90V edition of the upcoming Ball Bearing lock Mini-Manix (next year at the earliest). Of course I said yes, and hopefully if enough of us keep asking for it we might get one.

As for S110V. I'm sure it'll happen eventually, but right now Kershaw has an exclusive contract on that steel, it probably won't be till sometime next year that anyone else get's to produce knives with it.

I would definitely get one, price permitting, of course. $150 max!!
 
I'm poor, too. That's why I horde my pennies and save every last cent I can, and every way once in a while... I get to buy a new spydie. :D But, seriously, that's the reason my collection is so small, compared to a lot of peoples. I've just learned that I like Spyderco's, so I dont waste money buying anything else.
 
I agree with Ben that a smaller S90V blade would be nice. Personally I'd love an S90V UKPK with choil jimping.

My sentiments exactly - either that or an S90V Caly 3. I would really be interested in that. I carry my UKPK far more than any of my other Spydies.

Well, the Mini-Manix technically only has 2.75" of cutting edge, but if you want the smaller total length for legal concerns then I agree an S90V UKPK would be awesome.
 
I's hate to ask Sal to design a new knife, but for those ocassions when I wear a suit, (often) the Millie is uncomfortable, and more knife than I usually need.

I'd love a Micro-Millie with 2 1/2 inch blade, of S90V, and no clip, to carry as a pocketknife. IOW, a "shrunken" version of the Millie! :p

Would making a comeback of the full size Persian with S90V & White Micarta be asking too much?:D;):thumbup:

Right now my father has loaned me his CF S90V Millie to play with, and the feel of the CF on it is very similar to my G10 S30V Millie. It all depends on how the CF is finished. The CF on the ZDP Caly 3 is much smoother.

And I should add that the CF on the Millie looks really really good....

In all seriousness though,I hope it could be taken into consideration.I'd sell almost all my knives just to have one of them.:o

Does Spyderco have a custom shop?
