After much use I had to share another picture showing the whittling power of the RC-3. Whittling a wood match will show how sharp and how good the blade geometry is.

I sure am glad this knife came out!

The more I look at the RC series, the more I'm excited for the RC4. I really think it might fill a good niche for me. I'm a little worried about the thickness though, I'd have preferred a 1/8" over 3/16", but we'll see.

Those are some really good curls you've got going, it's great that you've found a blade that you love so much. I can't seem to just 'be happy' with what I've got anymore! I think I just need to get some dirt time...

Edit- Almost forgot, I got the Farmer today! Looks great, it's in good shape. It will probably reside in my RAT7 pouch as my woods Farmer, my blue one is for city use.

The RC4's were supposed to have shipped today, so I don't know when the actual sales/shipping will happen from distributors. I would have pre-ordered one but I was waiting to see if Spark was going to do the forum setup. He's been incommunicado on that thread sadly!

Spooky glad you got the farmer I mailed it about a week ago thought you had it already.
I could go for a 1/8" RC-4 too.
RC-4 will change the game.

Awesome pics bear. Love the matchstick. :D

Scott good job with the convex.
You had to have the kephart in your pictures!

LOL, it's not very often I have that many of the same knife finished all at once. There was a 5th one, stag handled but the customer came to the shop to pick it up.
Glad I could help with the edge.
