11/13/14 Just got off the phone with PK. Surgery went well…..got the new hip and I think he got a boob job as well. (Although he may have been talking about his nurse) He is in great spirits, (all doped up), but will still probably walk like a girl. The main thing on his mind was to thank all of you guys for the well wishes and let you know he'll be in touch as soon as possible. More later from the PK himself.

Just got off the phone with him at the hospital. Came through the surgery OK, but of course a lot of discomfort (as he puts it - I think most folks would just say PAIN!). Hopefully he will be out of there in a couple of days and a lot of rehab ahead of him . . .

Ahhhh . . . now I see it! Edited the OP. Time for bed - LOL.

I just talked to Paul. He is still on painkillers, but is cheerful.

He likes his hospital room and will probably do some physiotherapy today.

He tried to post on this thread, but had a problem with his phone.
 
I wish Paul a speedy recovery and I am sure he will have his full health back in no time. I am only sorry that Paul didn't mentioned it earlier, because I am almost sure I would have gotten him a discount;). I work for Biomet, one of the largest and best companies providing top quality hips. If he has a Zimmer hip, no sweat, in a few months time we will be one company.

always thought of Paul as a hip dude. Now I'll be thinking of him as the hip dude.
