FYI: Insingo with carbon fiber inlays is "happening"!

That is awesome!! Now only if CRK would do a Damascus insingo blade:)

oh my poor bank account. Please tell me they're gonna have the polished blade and satin finish too. I'm not a big fan of the satin so it should make it easier to stay away. Now if it was like the micarta version/ not satin:eek: I'd be all over one. But then again maybe not, my 25 is doing a hell of a job:D

This is Great News, at least we know the insingo will now start to become available in different versions other than plain..............I for one would Love a Large Damascus insingo as well......! I asked CRK long ago and at that time, there was no plans for one, even though there was interest. Looks like things are changing some.

I guess it is a good thing for my wallet that a knife I am lusting over isn't being made. A true Grail:)

Me too. I wonder if the CF can be blasted like the Micarta inlays can ??? I would think so, and if so you could alway get one and send it in for a blade tumbling, and handle blasting.

Last time I blasted CF it took away the factory polish and left it dull, but textured. Frankly it kind of ruined the appeal of the stock CF. I'd mask it off before blasting personally.

I can't decide wether to get the large or small. I own a rare wood small Insingo, and I haven't ever used it, so I have no idea which size blades performs the best.

I own a large micarta insingo and small plain insingo. 9 out of 10 times I grab the small. It has a pointier tip and the blade feels bigger than it actually is. I'm on the email list for the small if you couldnt figure that out already. :D

And of course if you still can't decide get both.

This sounds like an excellent variation, can't decide between the large and the small! Probably be lucky to get either one at the rate these will sell out. Also, a polished Insingo blade will look awesome. Now starts the frantic page refreshing and email checking. Good luck, everyone!

I'm in for sure. Timing is going to be critical, trying to snag one of theese!

I'm a bit skeptical as to whether or not this configuration will actually be a reality. Chris has said on multiple occasions that they will not polish an insigno blade as it removes too much steel and leaves the blade too thin. The fact that Bladehq has not received a sample knife to take a picture of makes me question whether or not CRK has actually confirmed this order. I for one would be even happier if they offered this configuration with a stonewashed insigno blade, which I think is more realistic based on previous offerings from CRK. I guess only time will tell.
