Anyone out there who is looking at this and hasn't seen one in person:
1.)The ergonomics are superb
2.)In spite of the thickness, the blade geometry makes it a better slicer than many kitchen knives
3.)Phillip's fit, finish and consistency of grinds are all top notch.

If I didn't have three already (of varying blade and handle materials) it'd be gone already.
