G-10 scale for Ti-MILI.

I don't think that Spyderco makes a curved clip to carry tip up. I you reverse the tip down clip, it curves the wrong way. The left handed version of the Military uses a straight clip. When I put a Carbon fiber scale on my Ti Military, it reduced the weight from 162 to 140gm.

Exactly !!! whats why I am not gonna use Spyderco clip , hold on I will post pics soon.

my ti-g10 mili weight 131g , and regular mili 121 g .

Your scales turns a maybe knife into something I might have to pick up. Spyderco should consult you in the future. Great job.

The Ti Military weighs 162 gm. The plastic Military weighs 118 gm. The hybrid weighs 140gm. The weight savings is about 22 gm. or 3/4 ounce. 1 ounce =28.35 gm.

Those scales are impressive. I hope Spyderco offers something like that one day. Perhaps in a sprint run?...

so I finally found time to make new G-10 scales for ti-Mili ,
it really made knife lighter
what you think ?

Me personally, I think you're wicked! Wicked, wicked, wicked good at making a beautiful mod to the Millie! Your work is outstanding!

I couldn't agree more. The sprint runs are getting monotonous. Different color scale or different steel. Very good but becoming ordinary.
Sal & crew do an exceptional job though and always have their plates full.

ok , here is two with clip reversed, finally lanyard has a reason to be on Mili.

Wow. Very, very nice. I'd even buy a Ti Mili if I could get one with a G-10 scale and a clip like that. Very professional looking work there. Well done.

AWESOME CLIP!!!!! Spyderco needs to seek you council. If only iot were a low riding clip!
Great job my friend.

Wow, that does cut the weight down considerably. That would be sweet if these were available for purchase...

I'm not sure I understand this. I think they are anything BUT ordinary and monotonous.

I just got my knife back from trix2004, and wow! I like the G10 scale on it now a lot more than the Ti scale. Plus, it is finally converted to tip up! :D

If you are on the fence about having trix do a conversion for you, don't be! Go for it.

I'll be sending you my G10/Ti CPM M4 Military to swap to tip up and possible, another colorful scale.

On the same page as reducing weight, anyone thought of drilling holes on the Ti-slabs? Like for the Spyderco ATR?

That would look great and ti-slabs (even with holes) are stronger (methinks?) than G-10.
