G-10 scales

K so i was thinkin about buying a new rc-4 with g-10 scales to put on my black rc-4. Has anyone done this before and if so how do they fit? Also is the handle size on the rc-3 the same as the rc-4? Thanks!

They will work, but the fit will not be exact. Each pair of scales is fitted to its respective knife.

thats the RAT pack knife, the fit is good because it is factory

hi, i've done that with the canvas scales, the fit is very very close but not as perfect. about as good as a normal company fits their scales.

another option for the OP would be to get those G10 scales from t-k-c that are gonna come out soon.

And they are all numbered with our RP numbers! if you look closely they also have special tricked out "RAT PACK" bolts.

The number is on the pommel... I am RP#192!

I guess what i was wondering is are the esee-3 scales the same thickness as the esee-4 scales?

ESEE3 scales are the sames as the -4 scales.
it also just so happens that I have a 4 with G-10 scales I think are a little too slick for me -- and would be willing to trade for some canvas ones.
OTOH, I think I'll keep my pack knife, even if it wasn't one of the numbered models. (there were 40 unserialized ones)

Ah too bad mine are Linen Micarta Handles =( The canvas are the best ive seen for grip. I guess ill have to order a new esee-3 with g10 scales.
