G 10???

I am unfamiliar with G 10 could anyone tell me what it is and possibly how its made. I have been trying to branch out into some new handle materials. Thanks for any help

Bryan,
G10 is cool stuff. It is a glass fiber/sheet laminate (think super fiberglass). If I'm not mistaken, it was originally developed for electrical insulation. All I can say about it is it is VERY DANGEROUS to inhale...make sure you have good dust collection and respirators before working with it.

Here are 3 colors from Alpha. I like this stuff but you're right about the danger. I take the grinder outside and wear a respirator. Its funny though the orange doesnt smell at all or else my nose is completely shot now.
