G.E.C. 440 c

I think the Fur Taker is available in stainless, doesn't that have a Wharncliffe?

Myself, I'd be up for a 73 Linerlock in stainless, suit my needs down to the ground. But, apparently, GEC doesn't offer many stainless knives as they don't sell so well.Pity.

I got one of these yesterday. It's a little smaller than I imagined but I really like it. Unfortunately, what I've been reading about GECs proved to be true; it arrived in a very dull condition. After a little time with a diamond stone I got it to be sharp enough to push-cut paper. All in all it's a beautifully made little knife.

Sheepfoot looks well on a small single blade like that. Not usually an etch fan but I like the squirrels&acorns on their stainless.

I totally agree. There are some GEC offerings I refuse to buy because of the hokey-looking blade etchings but somehow the squirrel/oakleaf/acorn motif looks good to me.
