If you've never tried the E.T. (External Toggle) knife from Grant and Gavin Hawk, you don't know what you are missing.

Check out their site for just a few of the ways you can open this knife...once you have it in hand, you'll discover many more...it is great to play with.

Comes complete with carabiner clip "sheath," adjustment tool, prospector's bag., etc...everything the knife had when new.

It has been lightly used and carried, but is in overall great condition.

Try it, you'll like it...$550

I can vouch for the addictive action of the ET. It is a fantastic design and Grant and Gavin Hawk are great assests to the knife community. Good luck deja. The factory Kershaws don't compare....a custom ET like this one is the only way to go.

i wondered if that was a mis print $550.
a friend and i were just talking about the toggle by kershaw , he picked one off gaybay for $26 bucks.
soooooo. the real deal from the brothers is awesome. they do know how to make some fantast:cool: ic stuff. indeed.

Unless the seller has directly ripped you off, I don't want to see negative comments or asinine behavior in for sale threads, especially from non-paying members. Questions & such are still welcome, but don't act like an ass in someone's for sale thread.

I don't care if you can find it cheaper elsewhere, the market will decide whether or not it sells at that price. The people who are selling here help keep this site open... when you mess up their sales, you hurt this site.

Markv: Does this hit home to you? Maybe you are new to 'handmade', not factory/production knives.

Thanks Coop. That needed to be said.

Yeah, $26 bucks is a great deal for the Kershaw version of this knife. Never in a thousand years could it compare to the look, feel, and action of one made by the Father and Son team of Grant and Gavin Hawk, which is what Deja is offering for sale.

I purchased a Kershaw E.T. for a friend as a Christmas gift and I spent a good 30 minutes trying to get it adjusted to be tighter in one place and loose enough to work in another. It just doesn't have the same class folks.

I sold my Damascus Timascus custom ET on eBay for $1700 last week.. That tells me that this custom version that Deja is trying to sell is worth at least what he is asking if not more. Deja, you will find that you miss this knife immediately once you sell it.

Good luck in your sale. Anyone reading this that does not know about the ET, take the time to look it up. It is one of the most spectacutlar knife actions ever made.

buddy i make my own knives and have been around blades for 40 years.
i think you jumped the gun.
simmer down a bit
my comment was about how cool the Hawk brothers are and how awesome
the toggle is.
i don't think you even understand real world statements. read what i said
again, and tell me i was trying to mess up a sale.
i'm not a punk so don't give me that routine.
don't you have anything better to do.
reread my post again and i think you'll see things in a different light.
it is quite difficult making sense of meaning or phraseology with this medium
buzz:D

enoreeriver
could'nt say it better my dangself.
no hard feelings. or "whatever" is this the correct word?

This CUSTOM E.T. is still available...the action can't be compared to the production model...

markv, you didn't say which way you thought the misprint was, so I assumed the same thing.
ADDED: Sorry, I didn't mean to give the wrong impression, again. :o

NO misprint...this is a custom E.T. from the father and son team of Grant and Gavin Hawk...it is discretely numbered on the inside of the frame...these customs sell for $650...buy mine for $525

As requested...here are a couple of pics. Thanks!
