Hi everyone. I didn't think I'd be getting rid of this one but I recently snagged another one that I like a little better so this one's got to go.

Up for sale is a G&G Hawk M.U.D.D.

---

The M.U.D.D. (Multi-Utility Dirt Defiant) knife is an innovative Grant & Gavin Hawk design. While the MUDD isn't a new knife, it is now being offered as a limited USA-made production run with premium materials and finish. What makes the MUDD stand out from the crowd is the sealed pivot and locking mechanism that "defy" dirt and moisture contaminants from entering the moving parts of the knife. The handle on this knife has carbon fiber scales over tumbled titanium liners. It has a stonewashed blade with hollow grinds and notably large thumb studs.

---

This one is from their second run in CTS-XHP steel. This one has an acid stonewashed blade and bronze anodized liners. Awesome smaller tank of a folder with a very unique design. This one was a light user and was sharpened to a near mirror polish and is razor sharp. Has a small scuff near the tip on the presentation side. Otherwise no issues.

Asking $400 SOLD shipped to US. International buyers welcome but you will have to pay for the difference in shipping. Payment via PayPal.

Not looking for trades at this time.

I was mainly asking because I have been thinking about picking up a MUDD and not sure if I should go Coated blade or stone washed.

Being that you have owned both do you see a benefit to one over the other besides looks. I was just thiking if I buy a MUDD it will be getting dirty and wet which makes me lean toward the coated blade bc of rust prevention. But I also like the look of the stone wash.

The acidwash should help with rust prevention if that is your preferred aesthetic.
