Here is one from several years ago - the Grant and Gavin Hawk TOAD (Toggle Operated Anti Drag) knife. Blade steel is ATS34, blast flats and polished bevels. As you can see, the pivot and the two "thumbtrap" studs are also polished. The frame is titanium (not aluminum like some of the earlier versions).
The scales are unique - they are some very old Westinghouse micarta, cut on the bias to expose a twill pattern. Due to their age, Gavin laminated titanium to on the rear of the micarta. In this case, these were sent to Chris Reeve to get that nice bronze anodize that you can see in the detailed photo.
Knife has never been used to cut, however, it has been carried clipped in a clean pocket on several occasions. I am the original owner, having ordered this directly from Gavin. These haven't been produced for several years. If you want more detailed info - you can look at the Hawk website.
