Well, folks, our video feeds went offline for the season last night. Thanks for tuning in to those who did.
We've got just a tad more work over the next 18 hours, then a bbq, then we head for port and start closing down for the winter. I'm itching to get home and back to my knives etc.

Me too! Gonna take a couple weeks but it should be worth it. I picked up a serrated 11 by Ka-Bar, but it didn't come with a box or a sheath, so I needed to get one... Looked at my options and went with Psy. Love me some Kelley Leather!
 
Anyone here do any trapping? I haven't since I was a teenager. this year I think I'm going to dig out some of my old raps and catch a few muskrats. I know I can use the exercise in the extra money won't hurt anything either
 
Jeez. Couple of hours ago I was wishing the old snark thread over. Now page 4 of the new one. Snarkage is strong in yous!

So far I have caught 5 raccoons,1 fox, and 1 bobcat, also many housecats :D with one live trap :D
 
Why is it that every time you think you have everything ready for a project, when you go start the project, SOMETHING has disappeared???? :mad:

Got a NEWSED BK2 in the mail today. :) Since I knew it was coming with the screws missing, I decided that this would be the 2 that I monkeyed with and modded. :) Got handle screws bought, scrounged up the scale and liner materials I want to use, etc.... Laid out the scales and liners, cut out the scales with my jigsaw and when I went to change the blades to cut the liners, my whole dang ring of jigsaw blades has decided to take a vacation. All of them. There's probably 20 or 30 blades hanging on that ring and it wasn't where it was supposed to be. Spent an hour looking for it. Finally gave up. I guess I'll find them after I buy another new pack of blades tomorrow.

Cool! Watch a trapping the coons with? I don't know much about trapping, but I know an older guy that is going to show me how to trap coons and whatnot.
 
My daughter just got over the stomach flu. I just came in from the shop with my belly a hurtin, man I hope Im not getting sick. tis the season I guess.
