G10 & a black light

The edges of the side that glows seems to show layers of black and green under the blacklight. It can't be some sort of contaminant, it is perfectly even and occurs on both sides of knives like the Terzoula and SERE, no matter which side they are carried on--- and my Gunting really hasn't been carried at all, so it's nt just wear on one side. Who manufactues G10? Maybe I'll hassle them for an answer.

That's interesting. My green slab is green all over: even the sides are solid green.

Your experience of layers of color seems to better validate Burke's theory: maybe the weave is going back and forth and that is why layers show up.

If you get any answers from anyone I'm still dieing (no pun intended) to know.

maybe it's like the phenomenon that happens when a Certs is *cracked* inside the mouth in the dark, and it kinda glows, or when two of those *crystal*/white rocks are struck together in the dark?? could be!

Ok, this is weird, I tried this with a standard g-10 sifu and it glows blue. Now I am curious to try the civilian and my cuda????
Maybe it's for satelight tracking

O.K., Centurian and chief, I need you both to stand very close together, and look at the glowing red end of my pen....
