Ok Steven yours is underway as of now. I just drilled out the holes and I am currently in the process of shaping the lock contact for the blade. Then I'll move over to marking and milling my lock after that.

Still have to cut out a spacer for the rear but its started and thats the main thing.

Stay tuned my friend and you can watch your knife come together.

Cool! Thanks STR! Watching it come together is really neat, I wish see the process step by step could be done with production folders as well, it is really educational to see it come together.

Ok well I'm at a stop point for now. Thanks for looking.

Thanks STR. That is a great looking knife. Thanks for keeping us posted. As always, you do great work.

I have not taken pics but I have made progress on this one of yours today Steven.

Got all the barrels and screws cut to length, have the lock ready to mill out and the blade pretty close to finished up. Just a down hill ride after the lock is done. I'll probably do that tomorrow and depending on how I feel I may even knock it out tomorrow it just depends. Don't hold your breath or anything because you never know. :D:thumbup:

Cool! I don't have any classes tomorrow, and I'm off from both of my jobs, so I will keep an eye out! You never know!!

Yep. The reason I say you never know is due to it being Friday tomorrow and the fact that the wife and I often do estate and yard sales on Fridays and Saturdays. If a good one shows up in the internet listing we may have to dart down the street or something. You never know. I might find a new toy I just gotta have! ;)

Even with us being in and out all day and the wife sticking me on other projects outside and on the roof I managed to get the lock cut out. Still a ways to go but we're moving along.

STR

Ok we have lock up. I'm just getting to folding over the clip. Oh and yep I did remember your order was different in the clip than the others I've done. No worries.

Now that the lock has passed the test fire and we are all but to the home stretch I don't suspect it will be too much longer.

You did say tip up right hand carry correct Steven?

STR

Gettin' closer. May be I'll get it done in time to mail tomorrow (Monday) for you. Just taking it easy on my way to the finish.

This is still lacking the detent and final shaping here but we are going in the right direction. Its all bead blasted and the threads are all cut. Everything is lookin' great so far. We'll see if I can't get this in your hands by Wed. or Thurs. this week Steve.

Lookin' good STR!! Yep right hand tip up! Thank you my friend can't wait!

BTW the clip looks great! It is just what I wanted.

I believe your knife is all finished up Steven.

It functions well, feels great, cuts great and seems to have all the bases covered. I will check it again in the morning and take it all apart to bead blast it one more sweep on the outside to clean it up but it will have to be when I'm fresh and see it in the sun light to note if I missed anything. It seems good to go at the moment.

Here are some scans. Too late for some digitals I think and last time they just came out dark anyways.

Look for some digital pics tomorrow in the sun if it passes my inspection after a visit to Mr. Coffee. It is looking real good to be in the mail to you soon as we square up though.

Looks awesome STR! Email me your Paypal when you are ready, and I will have it sent out tomorrow morning before 11am, or after work at 8pm! Thanks STR!!!
Steven

Great pics STR! I saved them all! Just wondering a few things, what is the 440c hardness? I guess it doesn't really matter, but I am curious. The 440c is cyro treated correct? What exactly does that mean? Thank you my friend, cant wait to get it!!!
