G10 Delica and endura

if i remember mr. glesser right, he said he wanted to keep the price proximal (not too far) to the FRN. but that's not possible at the moment due to the weaker dollar relative to the yen. this was before the dollar strengthened a bit.

g-10 D&E didn't sell well??? so how come no one's willing to offer theirs on the bay? i've been stalking those for two years now.

The price must have outweighed the overall final product. The reason you won't see them for sale much is because the people that own them aren't stupid enough to sell something that is worth a lot more than what they paid initially. Same blade steel in a different handle could be purchased for almost $50 less. I'd bet Spyderco sold enough of them, but sales were not consistent year after year. The same thing happens with other brands. If the cost of production outweighs the profit produced the items are discontinued. When this happens, other models are given the factory floor time that the discontinued item once took.

Also, it doesnt have to be a reg production but a sprint. That should take care of concerns of it not moving. Again we're not talking about some obscure models here, a Delica/Endura/Stretch G10 sprint is something to get excited about.
