G10 Delica on the way

On Sunday I ordered a G10 Delica. Shipped out today and hope to have it soon. I am really pumped about this knife. My top two folder companies have been benchmade and spyderco. While it is still close, I have really been liking spydies lately. I currently have a paramilitary, Mini manix, copilot, and a lava. Also had a native but I just gave it to a neighbor who helped me out during hurricane gustav.

I am very excited about this delica, but I have not read too many reviews from people that own the G10 version. It took me a long time to pull the trigger on this one as I could not decide between it or the caly 3. Does anybody have this knife, and what are your thoughts on it whether you own it or not.

i have two delicas. both are zdp-189 though.

the frn handle feels great in the hand. it is very light weight and is completely unnoticeable in the pocket. it is a great edc.

I bought a G-10 Delica relatively recently, and i have fallen quite in love with it. I don't know why i have not replaced my old, old, old version i lost years ago, before now. It is an all time classic. It feels great in the hand. The blade is extremely sharp. I hear all manner of good things about VG-10. It is not the lightest version of this model that you have ever held due to the steel liners. I have a fairly arbitrary fondness for steel liners and the heft that they give a folder, but i also know that whatever strength they give will be pure gravy and never actually be needed. I love the G-10 on it. I think everyone should have a version of this knife. Good purchase. It is still early days for a user review, but i cannot imagine it will be anything other than a great everyday carry.

Great knife I've had mine since November. I EDC it interchanged with my sage. It'll hold up to any task you want to throw at it. I wish it rode a little lower in the pocket but hey that's why we've got STR :D It's just a super solid delica whats not to love? :thumbup:

Thanks for the imput guys. I cant wait until mine arrives. If anyone else has any opinions, feel free to chime in. I need something to hold me over.
 
great choice bro, congrats with your new Delica. I just got my first Spyderco today which is DELICA 4 black FRN....and i am LOOOVINGG IT! Now waiting for next shipment...Endura 4 Foliage Green and Yellow Pacific Salt....time clicking slowly here... :(
