G10 or Micarta

Micarta feels nicer in your hands. I want to say it feels softer than g10. Or maybe it is that some of the micartas don't feel as slippery in your hand if they are wet, like g10 does. Or maybe, I'm just crazy.

Ilovemicarta.
Ilovemicarta.
Ilovemicarta.
:D

Jerry and Garth..."ow bout doing some sculpted Micarta or G-10 handles?? Grab some drinks and you two talk it over. :D

Sculpted in the shape of wimmins perhaps?:D

I have thought about it, and while I like both, I would chose Micarta over G10 in most circumstances.

The comfort of G10 seems to be more dependent on the pattern/texture cut into it, if any. With a pronounced pattern, the edges can be a little sharper than the same pattern in micarta, so harder on the skin.

Very true.
I was going to say that in my intial post, but at the time I was to lazy to figure out how to word it:p

SO , I will soon be the proud owner of a DesertSage With Black machined Micarta NMSFNO.

I was considering other color combos and perhaps Also in addition one of the Coyote and Tan Skinny Ash's but availability on Busse Company Store narrowed my options even from yesterday.

Thanks everyone for your input on handle materials.

Regarding the BusseCS, do they regularly get more models back in stock or are they "gone forever" when they are out of stock?

Pointy
