g10 or micarta???

I'll end up with both eventually. I think orange would be best if you fear losing the knife while backpacking or hunting. Micarta is my personal preference for grip, appearance, etc.

As far as use... You will be happy with whichever one you go with. I think it will come down to appearance and/or being able to see it better if you drop it or lose it etc.

I really like the looks of G10, but I prefer the feel of Micarta, though not by much. I would take either happily.

I have both just got od & orange RC3 two days ago I like both,was suprised how grippy
the G10 was wet.
