G10 scales for Izula?

Thanks Ben, was thinking bout replacing the black handles on my
skyline with blue. Wanted to do other colors for all my knives that
have G10.

How would you get this to work for the Izula? Cut to shape and drill holes
for screws? Any ideas guys?

Any tutorials on G10 work would be great. Thanks.

Ask around in the knifemakers forum. They would be glad to help you.

Cut the G10 on a band saw...say goodby to the blade, the G10 will eat it up....I epoxed and pinned the scales on, a little time on the belt sander to round off the edges, then a couple grits of hand rubbing.....here tis....the scales are only about 1/8" thick (ea.) so the knife is not real thick...

Nice work, sweet. I don't have those kind of tools right now.
I do have access to a dremel. Wondering if that is strong
enough to work on G10. Will take further questions to knifemakers
section. Thanks!

You probally can use a dremel to do most of it, but wear stuff so you don't inhale the dust. A cutting wheel could do the general outline then I guess you could epoxy the scales to the izula and then polish them up.

#22 looks more than awesome imho.
it just shows the dozen of facilities, esee / rat cutlery knives have.

Very nice work Rayban, those who have tried to cut off G10 before will certainly smile at your comment on the saw blade ;)
