I have been in love with the series since i first saw it, and have desperately wanted a digicamo para for a while now. My only proble is the lack of clip choice! I've always used a Benchmade AXIS lock, and so the tip up is kind of natural. I have used tip down, and just don;t like it as much. Has there ever been talk of a 4 position clip for the milly/para?

thanks in advance!

There is talk about changing the clip. :barf:

I'm sorry, but I cannot agree with that option. I love the curved clip. Drill and tap and ship it with a LH clip, or make a dedicated LH model, but don't change it to a straight clip. The Military is such a large knife with a very pronounced curve on the handle that I don't think it would sit as well with a straight clip. (The straight clip mentioned would be similar to the spoon shape on the Endura 4's and Tenacious).

I also like the clip on the Military/Paramilitary.

Tip up or tip down doesn't really matter to me as long as it's not a low ride clip or wire clip (I can't stand low riding knives or the wire clip).

Why? Because there are no liners, I believe.

Spyderco pays a premium for G-10 with 30% more fiberglass then normal, IIRC. You should be able to drill and tap that fine. Extending the nested liners down to the end of the knife shouldn't be a problem either.

If it ain't broke, don't fix it.

str tapped my two millies for tip up carry.

ya just dont want to take it apart too often or the screws will strip the g10/cf.

Maybe they will change but I like it the way it is. The nice bit of knife that stick out. Just so much easier to get out. However. To each his own but I think more options can be given.
