Hi!
Today something very special for me - it is my first ever damascus blade!
I present you Gallae. It was inspired by historical examples from XV century.
The blade was forged out of Sheffcut and 15n20, 64/61 HRC, about 120 layers. Blade is very deeply etched with beautiful contrast, both edges are sharpened.
The handle is made of mild steel and black hornbeam. Guard and pommel and sandblasted and darkened, spacers are mirror polished.
Hand stitched and hand tooled leather sheath.
Dimensions: 10 ⁷/₁₆” (26,5 cm) overall and 5 ³³/₆₄” (14 cm) of the blade.
Price: $729 including shipping by courier to US (cost of shipping to other parts of the world may change).
