Game Warden Popularity

This might seem weird but I actually sold my .14 satin and Red G-10 warden and my CG warden and kept my skelly warden for a better EDC. To me I felt like the handles really throw the balance off for me. The skelly is underrated I think in Busse land.

I find the BAD ( Boney active Duty ) is far more comfortable to use for an EDC. The handle is slightly longer than the GW and better suited for a larger hand. I find the GW handle too short.

I also find the blade on the BAD more suitable for EDC use than the GW. The BAD is one of the nicest small knives I have ever used and is crazy sharp too.

That is just my feeling and your mileage may differ.

I'd love to see a skeleton busse warden when Operation 2 Weeks starts up. I have a swamp warden but prefer the busse and can't being myself to drill the scales off of one.

I'm with ya here.... I've had several GW's but sold them all. The 3" blade just isn't enough blade for a fixed blade knife that is as heavy as it is. The BAD on the other hand is fantastic on size to weight ratio.

I'm hoping to edc the CS Game Warden I mentioned in my Original Post. It's away to Mr. Pirtle right now for pants. The maximum thickness was .135 so hopefully it will be a little lighter and not too heavy for a 3" blade.

I love my little Game Warden, mine is .185 thick, I don't notice it at all when carrying it. I use a leather horizontal welt lock sheath I made for it.

I don't think we see as many Game Wardens pop up on the exchange because the guys that have them like them. I see no reason for me to ever sell mine, that may just be the hog talking though
