game wardens...

I have several but the sterile Punkin' Warden in a black sterile Chuddy Bear sheath gets the most carry time. I haven't had it with me when I've taken game but for city chores it gets it done.

There were 39 different Game Wardens made that were sold through BCS. Here are #38 and #39:

#38 had a Black 0.28" blade with Blue/Black G-10 handles, and #39 had a Green blade 0.28" blade with Green Linen Micarta handles. Both had a significant swedge, too.

Re: #38 and #39, I asked Skunk about them and he said "they weren't part of the regular run", they were variants from Blade West.

Is your Green Linen the .140 that had the older Green Linen ?
If you bought it aftermarket for under $300 you did good:thumbup:

I had and have seen several of the Orange...the Red .140 is much more rare.

The .140 GL is the hardest to find. You won't even see many pics of one.
Everyone that has one post a pic:p

Yeah, I would have really liked to have scored the 0.14" GL. I think GL looks great. Just have to settle for my Black Tie and OJ Warden.

I have one with NO pic. :)

I think I got it in trade. A year or so back I musta had some GREAT blades for trade, b/c I got that and several others in some spectacular $ to $ trades.

I never even got a chance to see them online. Ever. I would have snapped one up if I did. The best I ever did was a .17 Black/DC. And I traded that away.

The green linen on the .14 is just stunning. I've had a thick GL too - just not the same. Nor the Lep-Warden. Somehow not the same at all.

I keep forgetting old Red. I had one in my basket that night, but decided I didn't like red G10. d'OH! Got a Flamer the following week (or so) and traded that away a few months later. I didn't want to mess up the flame finish.

Grabbed this Snake from the Store in the first offering. My other thin ones are the Satin/GL and a PE SMOG.

I have the older satin/green linen .140 in my pocket right now (thanks to Trevor) - I alternate between it and my two satin/snakeskin .140 LEs (I have what appears to be a "summer phase" LE and somewhat different colored "winter phase" LE.) I miss my .140 Orange Warden that I sold to Dirty Phill (if you ever get tired of it, Phill,...) I'll try to get some photos tomorrow. IMO these thin GW are the perfect day-to-day, in-town EDCs, although I usually carry my Lep Warden or Muddy Warden when my job calls for a flight suit see my avatar photo). And I like my satin/micarta .270 GWs too - I just don't quite know what to use them for just yet (and no, you can't have'em!)
Best Wishes to All,
"Bloody Bill"

I use my OJ and Skelly Warden daily. I hope to have a Muddy Warden on its way soon, I plan to use it while I'm at work in Africa.

My first and the one I carry every day is the double cut with black micarta....classic busse :)

I have a convexed pumpkin GW that I carry every day. It sees a lot of use. I have used it to process an elk earlier this year (the elk was already skinned, we and we were butchering it). The GW is not long enough to make for easy slicing of the bigger muscles. I moved up to the SS and the Ash1 for some of the bigger steaks.

The GW makes a great EDC. The thinner ones would be perfect. I have a .22, and it gets the job done. I would also love some of the fatty swedge grind GW's!

The more common versions can be had for $200 or less.
