I reviewed it here. The post is in the archives somewhere. There are some interesting comments in that thread if you can find it. The review is also posted on the Kami page of the FAQ under Ganga Ram. http://www.tx3.net/~howardw/Khukuris/Kamis.htm
I'm not sure how many he made for HI. It wasn't many.
If my memory serves me correctly, Ganga Ram was noted for the Ganga Ram Special, but do not recall if he made any other styles of khukuri for HI. I think Uncle Bill may be able to confirm this one way or other.
You are right, Harry. Ganga was an excellent kami and we would have loved for him to stay on but he was too old to do a lot of work and missed home too much.

Blessings from the computer shack in Reno.
At least his design lives on at BirGhorka. The GRS I have made by Bura is one of the most awesome khukuris I have ever experienced. The design looks just like the khukuris in some nineteenth century illustrations of Ghorkas I have seen. What a knife (or sword)!
I was lucky enough to get one, too. If I remember correctly, it was in the second batch and thus number six or higher. Still one of my favourites, even after many more Ks.
