Fake Jerrys are awesome. It's part of the fun. Now that Jerry does a sticky for the "go" post it's your own fault if you fall for a fake one.

Not sure what you wanted, but it's always worth shooting off that email... even now. Ya never know! BTW, firing off early on a fake GO does NOT disqualify you if you send another email when Jerry posts the real GO. :thumbup:
 
1. Early emails aren't really any more work on the receiving end. They simply will ignore anything that came in before the real GO.

that leads to ...

2. Early emails are not penalized, they are ignored. So if you do fall for the spoof, or have premature emailification (hey, it happens), just calm down and resend at the correct time. Or even right now. What have you got to lose?
