That blade sounds awesome! Make sure and show it off when it arrives! Congrats!

Unfortunately that TGLB was lost while in USPS transit.
There are 2 threads about this. The 1ST one is locked by USMC, and the 2ND I just opened and was moved to the FEEDBACK: The Good, The Bad, The Ugly! section.
So it should be at the top of the page.

The handles are black. My cell phone pics don't do it justice. They are the same color though. You will be very pleased when you get yours, I promise.

Patience everyone. Packages are leaving the shop everyday. The next one may just have your name on it.

And you ain't kidding! Got Lexi's email after a 9-11 o'clock meeting. Grabbed something to eat and headed out for my hour ride home from Raleigh to beat the UPS truck to my house. Shoot!, missed. Called. Went looking while waiting on a call. Two calls later, I snagged the UPS man in town up the road.

Yep, I actually chased the damn Brown truck to get my Tiger Hide SOB! Got her now though. Now, to figure out once again how to post a pic. Well, y'all know what a new one looks like. I'll have to do it later.

Oh yea, thanks EVERYBODY!! Now, git to working on my INFIdu and BEEFMANDU!!! Or, just wait a while and let my card stop smoking.

I was a brand new newbie when the last Ganza took place and I'd already scored my Satin TG from Knifehunter with the blue and black handle, so I figured I was all set. WRONG! As a newbie and not knowing the ropes (stlll working on learning my way around the forums, I could (and do) spend hours on here) the whole Ganza 'ready, set, go!' process intimidated me a bit. Now I've been totally bitten by the Busse Bug (say that 10 times fast!) and you can bet your bippy that I'll be participating next time! I have purchased a couple of Busse and kin knives here on the exchange from individuals and the experiences have been wonderful. I love this community.

I am so excited for you guys that are waiting for and receiving your Ganza grabs now! It's like watching kids at Christmas, so much fun! Kenash's mad dash after the UPS truck made me smile as I totally can understand the excitement and no, I wouldn't have been able to wait out the weekend to get my hands on that tiger hide SOB, either!

Just a quick and stupid question, if I may. Ganza knife models are not available for order at the Busse site, right? They are exclusive to the Blade Show and Ganza and are limited editions more or less, right? Oops, I guess that was two questions. Thanks and sorry for the newbishness. I'm learning...

I have not been sent an invoice yet, almost tempted to think my name got lost in the books somewhere :(
.....if you were told you scored something (as in an e-mail from Lexi or Pokey in the week after the Ganza) then you will be just fine, it just takes a little patience !!

..... yes and no. Two answers ;) true limited edition blades are Numbered as either LE #?? or as 1 of ?? (1 of 13 etc). While the specific models offered in a Ganza or a show (Blade, KC or some of the local shows Busse attend) are not generally available for order from the sites there is nothing stopping them rolling out another 500 or a particular model if they so choose. Or even adding it for sale if the demand was high enough. What you can be sure of, is that you will generally pay less direct from Busse (be it a Ganza or limited release etc) than on the secondary market.

Thank you so much for the information. It cleared things up for me and I appreciate it.

I did pay more for the Satin Team Gemini than the Ganza price, but I could not find one anywhere else at the time and the beast is worth every penny. (And mom always said you can't love inanimate objects...ha!)

Got the Grey and Black SOB today. And that is my first piece of INFI. All I can say is WOW. The wait was worth it. Convex edge and sharp. I think this one deserves a nice leather sheath.
