We are supposed to be survivalists. We are supposed to be able to live off a minimal amount of kit for a very long time.

Except - how many of us have a BUNCH of crap they would like to get rid of? Who has a bunch of stuff they could sell and buy IMPORTANT stuff with? Like knives!

We should have a garage sale / yard sale / ebay competition. Sell your crap over a set amount of time. Person who gets rid of the most crap wins!

I'm moving a whole bunch of stuff next weekend at Marty's. Very cheap if not giveaway. Stuff I don't use I'd rather see go to someone who will or a group that will use it often. If there is ever a group in CT that needs some misc. gear, let me know. By group, I mean boy scouts, girl scouts etc. Not a bunch of WS&S lurkers posing as cookie selling kids.
 
I liquidate my stuff to people who are on the edge. Not outdoorsmen, not city dwellers.

Gets them interested in the outdoors.

Well, I could probably do without about half of my stuff, but that's all the stuff that I'd have to pay someone to take:foot:
