Becker BK 710 (of my own making)
Becker BK10 Honey Badger (of my own making)
What we have here is a sort of a Garage sale. If you have been lurking for any period of time, you see I like to play with my knives. Sometimes I keep the finished product, sometimes I give stuff away to local friends and sometimes I sell off project stuff.
This is one of those last times.
First up is my BK 710. I wanted a BK 10 so much, I decided to make my own. This I did prior to Kabar releasing their newest version. I like to think I inspired them. But who am I kidding. Anyway. The grinding was done very carefully and the blade never got hot. I only grind for a second or two and then quench it. This one was done in a sub-freezing garage and never had a chance to get even warm. Finish is nice and even. Fits in a Kydex sheath I had made for the Camillus BK10, so you know it is the same specs. I offer this one to you with an original BK10 sheath as well as original Grivory handles.
Knife is stupid sharp with a reprofiled edge.
This is a what you see is what you get sale. Nothing complicated. You can search the Becker forum for additional details on this knife as I do pictorial essays on my projects.
$45.00 Shipped USPS Priority. I accept PayPal with no added fee. Contact me for other payment options or international shipping fee. NO TRADES.
Up second is was a fun project. Even had a contest to name it. The winning name was Honey Badger. Hate to let this one go, but I really need to thin the herd and make room for more projects. Work bench is getting a little crowded.
This started off as an original Camillus BK10 that I altered. Again, feel free to go to the Becker forum and read all about it. I will say this, it is very very sharp. That edge is ridiculous.
