Gareth Bull shop, new knives and a new one for me (plenty of pictures)

I really like that orange handled folder with the spyderhole. Is there anywhere i can get prices for these bad boys or do I not want to know?

The one with the Spyderhole is his personal folder. Gareth has yet to lisence the hole from Spyderco so it is not yet offered to clients at this time to my knowledge.

I really want one of these folders. It looks exactly like my "go to" EDC folder I'd want to have.

My Warlock enroute now but post to here in Turkey notoriously slow so I reckon on at least another 2 weeks (probably 3) before it arrives. I asked Gareth to do a couple of cosmetic mods on this one and he is happy with the results - says he will do one the same way for himself. Will post pics when it arrives.

He is currently completing a bulk order of 10 ordered by Britishblade forum members and as he is posting a detailed Work in Progress thread there showing in detail how he makes them.

I ordered mine early april with Blue G-10. Can't wait for it. I just love the clean lines.

I am really interested in this knife, this is the small Warlock Correct? and what are the specifications of this knife?

I love the orange knife, seems very near from the Exkelibur model (ExK1) made by Bürger.

[EDIT] Ok, i have my answer, I read the "Burger inspired" :)

just ordered my warlock, and now the wait begins too. I would personally like to thank the op for introducing me to Mr. Bulls knives.... I have been talking with Mr.Bull for a while and he is a very very nice guy and he is a pleasure to work with.

I can wait!

My apologies for the later reply. I have been busy and internet has been down for some time.

Wolf, hope you like it!

Here are some other pictures from the maker that he posted.

wow, you really just are tempting me now. They all look so perfect in there own way. thanks for the pics.

Those 10 have just arrived in England and were the Group Buy I mentioned from the Britishblades forum. As you can see there are several different clip configurations.

They will be with their new owners later this week when I would expect to see a lot of comments but the organiser of this has already had a play with his and this was his initial posts:

Now, for a few pics, but first I must say these folders are utter gems..........so silky and smooth to open and close........light and slim.........a blade that cuts better than any out-of-the-box ones I've had before, even my Seki Cut.......astonishing edge

''I tell you what, just been out in the garden using the Warlock...........it is such a cutter - quite awesome slicing ability. Marthinus - you woz not wrong''

Thank you for posting, I look forward to hearing everyone's opinion. Obviously I love mine :)

Marthinus,

if you go back to see Mr. Bull again could you see if you could get pics of his voodoo model?

I have that model on my want list, and would love to see some better pics of it.

Will do Wolf. I should visit end of the year again, but our annual knife show is in September and if there is one I will snap a few pics.

For what its worth.

Here is a new comment:

...dropped round for a drop and a bite and during the course of the evening a certain package may have found its way into my pocket.

All I can say is that I will make sure this knife has a place in my pocket whenever I can. The design is inspired. Light, easy in the hand and eminently usable. As for the build quality - superb!

Mine is the 8th one down:D

The knife is amazing, as nice as I've ever held, seriously. The quality and fit and finish is superb. The blade grind and finish is beautiful, the lock geometry is perfect and the detent is the best I've ever seen, with a nice powerful snap.

The action is super smooth, blade centring is perfect, it's ridiculously sharp and the way the blade is sandwiched between the scales at the pivot, there is literally no gaps at all either side, and like I say it is still super smooth.

I'd seriously recommend this knife and I think Gareth Bull is destined for great things in the knife world.

So, go put an order in before you see that dreaded 'unfortunately due to the current back log, I wont be taking any more orders at this time' sentence that seems to be on all the top makers websites :D

I don't know Gareth personally, but he deserves all the credit he gets, also thanks to marthinus for this thread;)
