No watch received yet and no communication from the seller.

***Buyers beware***

I thought the feedback was a good indication of trustworthiness for this user.

Either something happened to him, or this has become a scam account now.

In either case, don't get scammed out of hundreds of dollars like I was.

Your post report mentioned emails. Were you originally contacted via Direct Message or via email?
If the first contact was via email, how did you verify that the person emailing you was actually the seller and not a scammer?

I never replied to your comment on 28 November because this watch sold on reddit over 3 months ago. Unfortunately I did not close this thread. I have never emailed you. This is a perfect example of why you should correspond with sellers via PM on here.

It seems it was a scammer.

The email address I received messages from was: alexanderbinson632@gmail.com

The email came through with the same user name as the seller's user name on this post and I was foolish to assume that was the same person.

I have corresponded with the real MaxFactor via DM here on the forums and it seems someone took advantage of the open post.

I'm not trying to damage anyone's reputation. This is my first negative experience on the forum and it seems I paid a price to learn a lesson. My apologies to the real MaxFactor.

The staff has struggled to find ways to fight the influx of scammers, but with limited success. As you are a Platinum member, I would recommend that all your purchasing transactions be handled via Direct Messaging.

Be advised that you posted your email in several prior threads. Highly recommend that you go back and remove all instances.

Will do.
Thanks for the recommendation.
Lesson learned on my end.

Again, my apologies to honest forum members and especially to MaxFactor for any inconvenience I may have caused.

I'm pursuing other means of following up with the scammer. I'll leave their email address posted here as a warning to future users, though.

Thanks again to the mods for the really response and support.
