Have any of you bought knives from garrettwade.com? There are a few knives from the site that I am interested in purchasing, but there isn't very much information on what materials are used, so I want to make sure I'll be making good purchases. Some of the knives I'm interested in are the Laminated Japanese Folding knife, the Douk-Douk, and the "Japanese Brass Cased Knife" (the Douk-Douk and "Japanese Brass Cased Knife" were knives mentioned in another thread I found on the forums, although not linked to this site).

Garrett Wade has been round forever , great rep . The once you mentioned are good working tools , I have a couple of the laminated Japamese knives . Mine is a friction folder ( no lock ) , good shop knife , takes a good edge . The Douk Douk is an experience in itself , very cheap , tuff as hell .
