Purchased a CRK Classic Sebenza when they first came out. Loved it (but evidently not enough ~ cuz we parted ways). Had this huge itch for another MM Classic. . .one came available. . .it quickly became mine !

Almost nothing beats a knife clipped in the right front pocket of my pants (or shorts) ! But. . .for some reason. . .I've had this weird desire to have my newly acquired Classic shoved in a nice little neck sheath !

Thought about kydex and concealex ~ especially, something that looks like "carbon fiber." Began shoppin' around for a nice kydex/concealex necker for the Classic. . .

My EDC for that particular week was a large regular Sebbie. That just happened to be restin' in a G2 canted belt sheath. ;)

Immediately. . .the brain began spinnin'.

Man, Gary makes a very sweet sheath. . .but never ever saw a G2 neck sheath. Threw down a very very simple design and fired it off to Gary (with fingers crossed). Did some beggin' and some pleadin' ~ and he bought it ! :D Lucky me ! ! ! :D Gary made several design changes (actually a bunch ~ of course ~ all for the good !) and taaadaaa. . .a brand spankin' new neck sheath for my Classic. And it wouldn't be complete without a "celtic" design placed on the bad boy.

It arrived today. . . MAN, how sweet it is !

Oh, not only did Gary make it a necker he rigged it so that it's also a high ride belt sheath. Here is a pic of it (disregard the white neck cord ~ it's for illustration only).

Life is good !

Thanks Gary

You're most welcome sir, glad to help out when I can and that one turned out pretty nice if I do say so myself...

Now, Neck sheaths, my first one, I would only do something like that on a Sebenza or other knife where the bolster area had a nice Swell that allows it to snap fit into the sheath for best retention, otherwise I'd not take on such a project and would say so upfront.

And with my taking a break, this is one of the last sheaths that will be made for a while. I have a couple in process for those outstanding orders and a break is due.

Thanks Jeff, wear her in good health!

I'll second that (or third it?). I have three of Gary's sheaths, and he is an absolute master craftsman. He's also a real gentleman and a pleasure to deal with--or just to jabber with about knife topics in general!
