Gary Graley Case

Oops, (see above) forgot to add the reason for my reply.

Someday, I hope to wear a G2 sheath--as of now, I can't decide which one of my knives deserves the honor.

My two cents. I have several of Garys sheaths and one very special one that he went through great pains to put together. ( It shall remain nameless)
In my humble opinion Gary is an artist whose medium
happens to be leather. He is also one heck of a fine fello.

Ditto. Gary is a great guy! Genuine, kind, talented, and big-time integrity! Go for it!

Cheers,
BJB :D

Gary is a great guy to know and his generosity and kindness are well known. From the time I started out(yes, I am still a beginner) he has shared his knowledge and skills with me, and has answered endless questions. I proudly call him my friend.

His sheaths are absolutely gorgeous.

Another rave review from a huge G2 fan! I've got 2, so far!

:D

Best sheathes I've ever owned.

Bar none!

I still have one of the 3 G2 sheaths left , One went with the Henchman when I had to let her go to get $$$ for a down on a house.
The vertical went to Burkstar but the Horizontal I will never part with .
Gary made this one for me with the footprints on the front , 3 sets , 1 set for each of my sons . This is a keeper.
I have since sold the Sebenza , hope to replace it by years end.

Gary is a true Gentleman and always there to lend an ear or advice as Lifter has already said .

You guys are way too generous, but I do appreciate the friendships that have grown from "meeting" you all!
Thanks!

And Adi, still checking on that leather for the slip sheath, hopefully not much longer, all out of my Elk and Buffalo skins for slip sheaths...:(

Gary has answered endless questions I had in regards to some sheaths I have lusted over for some time. He is a great guy to know and his work is beyond amazing

So Gary, does this mean your "time off" is over??:) Or are you still on leather sabbatical?

Thanks TBG, Time off is now over, very busy at the moment and also found that making slip sheaths isn't my thing at all, really need a fine sewing machine to do the softer leather justice and so the very few I've made in the past will be it, emailed to Adi that fact with an apology as well, worked on a sheath for a fellow formite that didn't do his knife justice and he explained that it didn't look like my regular work...which it certainly isn't and that just reinforced my decision to not take on the slip sheath business and stay with those things that I do know and enjoy.

hmm midnight already? Nite!

Sheaths do look nice. I'll have to get a few knives that will do them justice. Just bought my first Sebbie.
Small world G2. I'm up the road at prison town.

But you should see him dance!

And his ice sculpting, that's where his true art lies. He had dozens absolutely bedazzled when he whipped up that Shoney's-TM Big Boy at the Timonium show a few years back. Never even dulled the chainsaw.

Professor.
