Gary offered to purchase the knife via money order. Normally I'd be a bit wary of that sort of thing, but I took one look at his iTrader rating and said "yes" immediately (he has 241 positive feedback and 0 negative feedback).

However, I didn't end up receiving a money order at all. I got something much, much nicer:

How cool is that? I've never had such a nice little box in my life! Thank you so much, Gary, for going above and beyond the call of duty. By the way, I quickly put the box to work:

Gary G is one of best guys around in the hobby. There are a few people out there like this, but not many. That is an awesome storage box, very nice gesture on his part. Glad that everyone is happy.
 
Brian, why thank you sir, glad to see it arrived safely today as did that fine Kizer I picked up from you, interesting knife too !

Those boxes are sought after by folks where I work, so I keep an eye out for any, we get them in from a company that makes sensors but we break up the set and sometimes have a box left, but, you have to be quick to get any!

I too have been the recipient of Gary's generosity. He is a wonderful person who willingly shares with others and is an asset to this forum in more ways than one.

Thanks guys, one thing about our Feedback system that I check to see and find it interesting sometimes, is not just how many number of feedbacks there were but also how many that person had given to others, as some people just don't take the time to do that, but that number can also show you that the person is good on giving back feedback as well as getting.

Like right now I have 262 positive feedbacks, where on the other hand I've left 378 positive feedbacks to others I've had good dealings with, same with Brian here, he has over 100 given to him and he's left almost 120, I think it's a fair thing to check both of those numbers as it may give a sense of how diligent that particular person is on following up with feedback. I don't bug someone to leave feedback, figure if they are moved to do so, they will.

Just a thought on our feedback system. ;)

Gary is definitely on of the best BF good guys! It is a genuine pleasure trading with him. He's always willing to share creative and helpful resource information related to our BF community interests.
 
Gary is a fantastic guy. I think he brought some of the boxes for some members at the Rendezvous. Top notch member.
 
Gary rocks! He turned me on to Scott, Rusty Socket, for a couple of custom pens!
Scott is another generous and all around great member!
