Gas camping lanterns

Hi, stuartyr ,

Not exactly the same, using a frosted hood one.

This is a light of civilization.

I feel like having a forced bivouac even if I'm served the finest cuisine in the finest restaurant,
if the light is LED head lamp ;) .

It also heats inside tent.

I have a Micron and an Easy Light. The Micron does not put out the same light as the Easy. Try finding a Markill lantern online. The Astro is a great lantern and will stand up to abuse.

I have a Coleman Luminos that I have been pretty happy with. The cool thing about it is that it has a reservoir on the bottom, so you fill it up with your gas canister, then you can remove the gas and use it for other tasks, and have the lantern go for something like 5 hours per fill, with 10 fills per canister.

I use a propane coleman. Its probably twenty years old.

Thanks mate, the Astro is easily available in the UK, I take it that you would choose the Astro over the Easy Light then?
