What kind of prices are yall seeing around the county? And (just to keep us here in North America from whineing too much) how about some prices from overseas folks?

Here in coastal Virginia I have seen from 2.99-3.50 ( 89 octane) as of the morning of September 1. @#$%@#%

In the UK it is about $7.99 for a gallon (uk gallons) or $6.69 for a US gallon. Thats for unleaded. Premium is more and so is diesel.

Though we do pay about 300% tax on petrol

Not had any price hikes here from the huricane though we have had to pay that much for quite a while.

here in a small town in new york it varies from 2.99-3.49 a gallon for unleaded. That was yesterday and i'm pretty sure its gone up

In Central Vermont, regular 87 octane is $2.99-$3.19. Monday it was $2.55.

yeah stop whining :p

Austria:

diesel 1 gallon USD 4.99
normal 1 gallon USD 5.27
premium 1 gallon USD 5.79

at least my car needs only 1.72 gal/100 km

I have been to Venezuela last year, so you're asking the price for gas?

A f***ing unbelivable USD 0.04 per gallon! :grumpy:

greetings

Hannes

Regular in Charlotte is anywhere from $2.99 to $3.69. $3.49 seems to be what most are charging.

Also, lots of stations that shut off their pumps (with gas) are now turning them back on to sell again at the higher price. A nasty little business practice, if you ask me, but nobody can force someone to sell if they do not want to.

I plan on putting about 3 gallons in this afternoon at about 3.29/gallon for regular here in Baltimore, and then when I get home, crossing over the state line into PA to put about half a tank in, filling it up, at about 2.89/gallon for regular, if the price hasn't shot up drastically over night. A station near me, in Parkton where I have my PO Box, has always been astronomically higher than everyone else in the area, yesterday they were about 40 cents lower than a lot of other stations. Heading down the highway, you have a clear view of their gas prices sign, it was 3.12/gallon for regular this morning.

Check out http://www.marylandgasprices.com/, I believe it covers all 50 states, just substitute the name of your state in front of gasprices.com, and you should find the best prices in your area. To all the people who visit here that work in Baltimore, that 2.65 a gallon in Dundalk looks pretty good.

Calgary jumped from $0.97/litre to $1.14/litre overnite yesterday. It still that this morning coming in to work from what I could see. It works out about $4.30 CDN/U.S.gallon. We have the Labor Day weekend up here, so a small jump was expected, but yup, we felt that one up here too  This is just for regular. It was also mentioned in our local paper to expect Natural Gas pricing to jump by 50% for our fall/winter season. I'm frantically trying to figure out how to afford one of those energy efficient furnaces.

I just paid $3.49 a gallon for premium in Queens, NY because they were sold out of everything else, and the other stations in the area were charging $3.49 for regular anyway. The first station I went to was out of gas actually, but they had regular for $3.07 a gallon. I was kicking myself because I drove past last night, and needed gas but didn't feel like stopping because there were too many cars. I didn't really bother checking the prices, but guess I should have.

The price of 87 octane "regular" unleaded gasoline across Ohio varies between $2.999 to $3.299 per gallon, with the largest number of gas stations charging $3.099/gallon.

If you want, you could check out Ohio gas prices on the Speedway/SuperAmerica web site.

It is $3.199 here for regular unleaded and we have a refinery that supplies all the gas to the majors throughout the northern part of NM. They paid ~$40.00/bbl for this crude and are charging (gougeing) like it was $70.00/bbl.

Wednesday I filled up at $2.89 / gal for 87 octane. The week before at the same station it was $2.69.

This morning I was seeing other stations in the area at $3.03 - 3.09 (87 octane.)

Here in SE Tennessee there is a pretty wide margin. I paid $2.93 gal (87 Regular) this morning. My Wife called me during lunch and stated she had passed by one station that ran completely out yesterday that was now charging $3.49 gal (87 Regular).
