OK - I haven't had much time to sit down and collect my thoughts this week. I don't have too much right now, but I'm going to give it a go.
I had a lot of fun and learned so much. I would like to thank the group collectively for this. My bushcraft™ skills are sub par, my firecraft is a house of cards and I am not a master craftsmen. I enjoy watching and learning from people who excel at these items. Thank you.
Todd - Thank you for dragging me to last Spring's gathering and then again agreeing to spend 6 hours one-way in a vehicle with me again to do down this fall.
Trade & Kay - You two rock. That's about all there is to it. Trade, I appreciate the input, wisdom and advise you shared with Evan and myself. I also appreciate your help with the pies. The powdered sugar was well distributed. Kay, the pies were awesome. Thank you so much for the cinch sack. (Don't worry, your cinch sack picture is coming... I just had a small argument with photobucket)
Guyon - The Yazoo 10th anniversary IPA was awesome. Thank you kindly for your support and input. It means a lot.
SaturatedShadow & Ponq - Same thing, guys. It is much appreciated!
Dex - The Boudin.... Oh man. Thanks again for the SS hardware as well as the input. Always a pleasure, despite whatever weird **** you keep in your cooler.
Vik - That soap is pretty slick. Thanks again. I seem to learn a couple of new things every time we speak. I doubt it is a coincidence. I'm looking forward to your input on that project as well.
710 / JD - Dude!
Derek - I appreciated the sheath making tutorial especially since my Magua was at the center of it. I learned a lot and I hope to give it a shot here sometime before too long.
Thanks again for the sheath!
Ethan - THANK YOU! Thank you for opening your home, shop and land to us. I keep telling you that you throw a hell of a party because you do!. I appreciate your generosity, kindless, food, and especially the advise you gave us. I also want to say despite Evan arriving Beckerless, thank you for making sure he didn't go home Beckerless. Thank you, sir.
I know I am missing people. I'm sorry, but I'm about out of time (and BF has already lost half of this post once already). I had a blast at the gathering and I appreciate the effort and hard work that so many people put into it to make it a success. Thank you!
