Just one thing, Butch... breaking belt edges. How do you do it and what are you looking for?

mike since the belts dont flex around the edge ot the wheel or platen for a nice plunge i radius the belt
i just use the dressing stone or a failed blade to do the rounding. if your looking for a super sharp plunge then dont round the edges

Another tip, don't flat your tangs with a used gator it will crown your tang which will cause you all kinds of problems when you go put your scales on. I love these belts for doing my bevels but unless I am using new one I use regular belts for the tang.
