Just watched the season premier of Swamp People. I love that show. I really want to go gator hunting. Have any of you guys ever tried it. It would be awesome to have a gator skin sheath from a gator you caught.

My dads friend in fl. Used to go. He used a bang stick. Said it was awesome.
 
I posted this picture in a previous thread. This little guy was about 6' and caught by my son-in-law in Florida. He promises me that the next one will be bigger...maybe I can talk him into having a few sheaths made:thumbup:

I wouldn't mind going gator hunting, they're pretty tasty and would make a couple great sheaths, and maybe an awesome pair of cowboy boots :thumbup:

I Recently found out that my step brother is Bruce's cousin... That's crazy sh$t...I used to laugh my a$$ off watching that dude on the show...only to find out he's kin...by marriage anyway. I would love to go gater hunting, but not alone like that crazy someB... Like T, I want a big a$$ boat and bigger bullets!
 
Swamp People...yeah yeah yeah yeah..... :) (Subtitled for the Cajun impaired) ... ;)

That said having spent a bit of time in the NT here and down in the FL Glades those Gators are a bit like puppies with scales... now a Salty on the other hand....

That's a good pic Andy. Looks like he's been around the place for a while. I love/hate that feeling you get when you're motoring up an estuary in a dingy and you see a croc slide into the water that's twice as big as your boat.

Swamp people is ok I guess however, I like the show Gator Boy's better, as they catch them by hand, in and under the water. You should check it out Garth if you have not seen it.
