I have just finished my next batch of Gastby M390 Super Slicer with Black Canvas Micarta with maroon liners.
These knives are my newest creation and I hope you enjoy them as much as you did the last model.

The Specs:
Bohler M390, heat treated to 59.5-60.5 Rc by Stack Metallurgical
.110 thick at the spine with a Full Height Flat bevel grind, brought to .007/.009” behind the hair shaving edge
Designed with meat and kitchen uses in mind
4.5” Blade length, with an OAL of 8.5”
Tumbled blade finish but stopped just short of mirror (holds up to various environments)
Black Canvas Micarta with Maroon liner material- this was chosen in order to blend in with existing knife blocks, subtle but yet very high performance
Custom made SS Corby fasteners that have been ground down after epoxy during my final assembly

Being that I have designed them to sell in “sets” a limited number are available for individual purchase @ $149 EA, please email me directly or PM to discuss specific quantity discounts.
I have been working diligently to get these ready by Thanksgiving and any blades purchased will ship immediately upon payment.

As I am newer maker I would like to take a brief moment and explain my process with these knives. I work in an aerospace machine shop in the Pacific NW. The shop I work at specializes in precision grinding of various parts and equipment. I have had a passion for knives for many years and about a year ago I started grinding my own blades using this precision equipment after hours. The handles are definitely the hardest part for me to complete. I have several friends in the machining industry who were able to help me see my designs become a reality. The finishing touches are all done by hand to ensure the proper level of fit and finish on these knives. The result is an extremely professional, precise, tangible product of my imagination. All sharpening is done at a low speed to maintain the heat treat tolerances out to the final sharpened tip.

Payment sent! Very excited to see the Gatsby since I missed the last batch. I have yet to try M390 and think this is going to be my new main kitchen knife (I've only had Chicago cutlery or entry level German kitchen knives before).

I can 100% attest to the fact that these are the sharpest, most edge holding knives I've ever laid to a steak (or 10 or 20)......:).

Outside of being so very efficient, they are also very attractive and fit so well in hand. Owning more than a handful of Brad's 'Gatsby's' wasn't a mistake or miscalculation on my part. They will last me and mine, friends and guests, a lifetime of ease of cutting and comfort when steaks are on the menu.

Perfect for the holidays, be it as a gift or as your personal steak/meat medicine.

Great job Brad!

Guys definitely jump on these. I'll echo that they are scary sharp and beautiful. Brad has a great design here in fantastic steel. Wish I could swing a set, soon.

Thank you very much gentlemen for the kind words. I appreciate it very much. It makes me so happy to see others enjoying my blades that were just a dream of mine for so long!
Thank you to everyone who has bought or inquired about knives. I do still have some available :)

Just received mine! The fit and finish are exceptional, and this baby is sharp. Being made out of M390, I'd feel comfortable using this knife for most tasks, not just the kitchen. I'd like to get a leather sheath and carry this thing. A bargain at $125 as far as I'm concerned.
