Just trying to see if any of you guys would be interested in buying some high quality, stabilized buckeye burl blocks?

These would be average block size around 5" x 1 1/2" 1 1/8". Good quality stuff not many checks or voids. Really nice color and figure.

I am NOT a wood supplier and don't want to compete with Mark or some of the other suppliers. I just like buckeye, I have a big burl to cut and I'd have extra blocks. Not sure how many yet but should be quite a few.

If there's interest, I will start cutting this soon. If not, it may wait 6 months or a year. The burl is good and dry and ready to stabilize.

I'm thinking the stabilized blocks would in the neighborhood of $20. I could cut bigger blocks if someone wanted some larger ones.

Any one interested? I'm not looking for committments here just feeling out how soon I should get at this.

I may be interested, I usually go for the ones that are on the blue side- kinda like the starry night painting-Thanks -Mark. Maybe some quick photos would help-Thanks

Okay. Definitely enough interest to get moving on this asap. thanks guys.

I'll post pics of the burl in a day or so.

I also prefer the dark colors with a bit of the yellow or orange for contrast.

Here's just some blocks that I got out of the last one.

And here's a couple from my own stash.

I should be able to get three times the blocks as last time.
