I contacted Spark, and got his blessing to Post this (thanks), But as Many of you know I've been an EMS worker for a while.. I've also been a cert Wilderness EMT, and a first aid and cpr insturctor for a while as well.. But I recently just got qualified to teach wilderness fist aid, and wilderness first responder courses..I'd like to run a NE wilderness first aid course over the course of a weekend this summer, I would eliminate all training fees for wilderness and survival forum folk as a thank you to all the great folks here..so the only fee would be for the course book, and the national cert card. If anyone is interested just let me know, either through this thread or via email judoemtb@yahoo.com date and location are still to be determined.

even if this goes to a fee please let me know.
 
Oh hell yeah! I'm not certified to teach or anything but I can help out if you want it with BLS and other stuff. I can be your sexy assistant.

Great idea and definitely not surprising coming from the kind of guy I've known you to be. You sir ROCK!
 
I'd be willing to help out as well (and pick up some more info - can never have to much training).
 
Depending on dates you can count me in. I've got two week long vacations planned this summer so getting away may be difficult but I'll try, this is a great opportunity.

That's pretty generous of you, I would definitely go if I still lived back east.
 
I'd be in providing I could actually get the time off, but that's not likely. Keep us posted though! I'd love to if possible!
 
Very interested, However I have no experience at all in first aid. Will you accept students without previous training?

I would probably be interested in it, depending on time/location (and my work scheduele).

I'd be up for that! I always wanted my WFR, and wilderness first aid would be a great start. Depending on the weekend, I'm in (I live in CO, but will be back for 2 w/e this summer)
 
Awesome guys.. I'm psyched...Marcelo I'm always in need of a sexy assistant...I get to pick out your out fit though... I'm thinking naughty school girl? seriously though anybody is welcome this will cover basic information.. You guys are great.
 
Still working on a location for now....technically all I need really is a dvd player and a work space we might even be able to do it at a campground that has a picnic shelter.. patch holes all day camp and part in the evening...
 
I'm in as long as Marcelo doesn't where the same mini skirt as he did the other night.

I'm still having nightmares!!!
