The Spydie there is my favorite personal knife. The other is a Nakayama custom that I wish I owned.

Come on guys . I am a bit disappointed with the interest in this knife . I know it.s not a ZT or a benchmade but its a good knife . use it and pass it down this knife will last more than one life time . and its FREE:eek: :D

Gotta love a good lockback. I gotta say, I'm kinda surprised I'm the only one interested so far. Maybe try posting in traditionals too?

I cant post a picture from my work computer....
I will post a picture once I get home from work tonight....I am very interested.

What a nice thing to do. Merry Christmas to you!
Unfortunately I'm disqualified from your contest. ;)

Yep. Ask a moderator to move this to the Traditional sub-forum. Rough Rider gets a lot of respect over there, and there have been many new members lately asking how to get started with their first traditional pocketknife.

I'm in, and here's my favorite, my Fantoni HB 02 :)

This thread was originally in the General Forum. The preceding one-handers are therefore given a free pass. Further ones won't, though

Hey, very nice to think of us newbs, can I still get in if I like Liverpool? Just kidding, some of the best music comes from Manchester. I'm in and thanks for the chance, very nice:thumbup:

Sorry for the Liverpool football reference R.c.s. some of us in the U.S. shouldn't joke about that rivalry. I should have referenced your other neighbor we all know and love, Sheffield :D

I'd be in there like a shot but I think I recently broke the 3000 ceiling.
Great Idea -I like the idea of encouraging the newbies. I did a newbie GAW a while back. good on you.

LIVERPOOL /SHEFFIELD  I will let you off this time but don't do it again :D

So awesome of you to give away such a nice blade!

I joined BF 2 weeks ago on the advice of a buddy. My interest was (re)sparked earlier in the year when my grandfather passed away. My father divvied up his belongings amongst us grandchildren and I received the Case pocketknife pictured below. It was dirty and well worn when I received it and my best friend took it for a few weeks. He polished the bolsters and sharpened and cleaned the blades. It looks terrific now! It is by far my favorite of the three knives I own.

Happy Holidays to everyone from the Dirty South!

Sorry, just read your not on non traditional knifes... so I would have to say the Uncle Henry stockman (bottom in the picture)

Thanks!!

Thanks for the very nice gesture, RCS. I don't qualify for this one, but if I may, I'd like to volunteer to add another mystery prize. First winner gets your Rough Rider, and if you don't mind picking a second winner, I'll send them a mystery knife.

Remember folks, keep your entries coming in on this (and make sure they're TRADITIONAL knives you post!)
