Email replied to. Since some of the knives were users or in need of sharpening or repair, NJBillK has kindly offered to touch a few of them up before sending them on. Thank you!

I would think the amount of TLC should be minor and the MBoK should be ready to go and NJBillK's contest for the next recipient up early this week. Let's try to keep the MBoK turnover brisk and lively folks! The original intention wasn't to give 10 admittedly low-end knives to one person and have the thread die after two people. If it seems like this is the way it's going, I may just ask the next person to put all 10 knives up for grabs in the Pay it Forward thread and I'll kill this thread. I thought the box and mystery would be more fun, but it isn't turning out that way.
 
Box will be sent out on Saturday to the person who can answer this question.

I will be putting a traditional knife in the box, what brand is it?

Nope, Coastie left for an out of state assignment for a week or two for the Service. He is likely either mid flight or getting his stuff squared away.

Right on wasn't insinuating anything glade to see this response have a few I'd like to drop in the box
 
I see Coastie is online right now. How about an update? And maybe a rule that if you can't turn the MBoK around within a week after you get it (or shorter preferrably), don't request it until you can. These long delays kill the interest in the thread and no one wants to participate if it's going to take years to get to them. Common sense, people.

Wow! I took a guess to the question NJBILL asked...got it right. I told him I would be out of town until the 30th. One week mission prep followed by one week underway. Was supposed to fly back yesterday, plane broke missed my connection and twelve hours later get on next plane. Just walked in the door an hour ago. Yes, I use my iPad when I'm sitting at airports or hotels. I'm sorry it killed your interest but "common sense" would dictate some people do other things besides stare at threads all day. You want the box you can have it. There was not ten knives in the box, only eight...and I will say mostly low end samples. So don't get to excited. I'm just a tad ticked off.

Then keep it. Boy, that was fun.

Note to next GAW box starter - make sure it's loaded with ZTs and Benchmades or those you're giving it to won't appreciate it.
